Age:  12 months to 24 months

Teacher-Child Ratio:  1:4

Max Class Size:  2:8

Class Hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Class Schedule: 

  • 7:00-9:00      Learning Centers in class
  • 9:00-9:30      Breakfast Snack
  • 9:30-10:05    Outside or Gym
  • 10:05-11:30  Learning Centers in class and Class Specific Activities
  • 11:30-12:00  Lunch
  • 12:00-12:30  Prepare for Nap
  • 12:30-2:30    Nap/Quiet Activities
  • 2:30-3:00      Afternoon Snack
  • 3:00-4:00      Outside or Gym
  • 4:00-5:00      Learning Centers in class and Class Specific Activities
  • 5:00-5:15      Late Afternoon Snack
  • 5:15-6:00      Learning Centers in class

Adjustments to the schedule will be made as necessary based on daily activities, field trips, and/or needs of the children.

Curriculum:  Language and Communication, Early Literacy, Physical/Motor Skills, Health, Safety, Cognitive, Problem Solving, Early Mathematics, Science, Social-Emotional, Personal-Social, and Creative Expression.

Assessments:  Every 4 months, or more often as needed.  Covers Communication, Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Problem Solving, and Personal-Social.  Ongoing observations covering social-emotional development, physical development, and cognitive development including:  language skills, reading, writing, mathematics, science, health and safety, social studies, creative arts, and technology.
